About the role
As the Deployment & Hypercare Manager, you will lead the deployment and support activities of the Billing & CRM Programme, which will transform our customer business with a Gentrack and Salesforce solution. You will oversee the deployment, cutover, rollback and hypercare support phases of the programme, and support the operational assurance activities. This is a chance to join a dynamic and high performing team and to be part of a large high visibility project that will make a massive impact to Genesis Energy and its customers.
Some of the key responsibilities are:
Create and document the deployment strategy, plan, runbook and rollback plan for each release.
Lead the trial migrations, dress rehearsals, readiness reviews, deployment, cutover and go-live activities for each release.
Manage the hypercare support phase for each release and the transition to BAU support.
Lead the decommissioning activity within the hypercare phase as needed
Support other technical, delivery and operational activities within the programme.
Please note that this will be a 19-month fixed term contract position.
About you
You are an experienced and detail-oriented technical project manager, deployment specialist or operations manager who can manage deployments and support for large-scale and complex programmes. You have strong service management, continuous integration and continuous deployment skills and knowledge, and you can work well with senior stakeholders, vendors and partners. You are flexible, adaptable and confident under pressure.
Some of the key experience and skills required for the role are:
Experience with CRM, Billing and Market Interaction systems implementation and deployment.
Experience in technical project management, deployment or operational management roles.
Experience and/or relevant certification in Service Management and Project Delivery.
