Dental Assistant

Details of the offer

Our Kerikeri branch is searching for an experienced Dental Assistant . You will need to be familiar with Aspect Dental Software and have a minimum of 1 year of experience. The role is from November 2024 through to around February 2025 to fill in for someone who is out of the country. The role may be extended in the right circumstances.
You'll be working from 7:45 am to 5:15 pm, but flexibility is key as the finish time may be extended. You will have a half day only on Friday, but a total of between 33 and 40 hours per week.
The role requires long periods of standing, walking, and leaning over, so no back injuries are permitted. You'll be switching between meeting walk-ins, maintaining the bookings diary, dealing with phone calls, and assisting the dentist in the dental surgery. You will also be sterilizing the instruments.
The Aspect Software can be taught if you have not used it previously, but you must be an experienced dental assistant.
Pay will be discussed at the time of your interview but will be between $26 and $29.
Call Richard on 094016310 for further information. You will be required to undertake a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen and be willing to undergo a Hepatitis A/B/C antibody blood test and HIV screen.
