Job Description Lumino Kerikeri is looking for a new Dental Assistant who is enthusiastic and passionate about patient care to join the team on a casual basis!

As one of our Dental Assistants, you will work alongside our highly trained clinicians and other dental professionals to provide excellent patient care and support.
You will be tasked with supporting our clinicians during various dental procedures and ensuring best practice standards are upheld, and the best patient care is provided to every patient.
You will also take control of tasks such as sterilisation and infection control, ensuring all instruments and equipment are processed and sterilised following best practice guidelines.
This is a fast-paced role where no two days are the same.
You will be someone who enjoys working closely within a team and providing upstanding customer care.  For more information about this practice, please follow this link:  Lumino K erikeri Assist Clinicians during dental procedures, such as taking X-rays, sterilising instruments, and preparing materials.
Greet patients, review their medical history and answer any questions they may have Provide patient care and education, such as teaching them proper oral hygiene techniques.
Maintain accurate patient records and filing systems Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for use Stock and order dental supplies Qualifications Previous experience as a Dental Assistant preferred but training would be given to the right candidate Knowledge of dental procedures and techniques Excellent communication, organisational and customer service skills Proficiency in computer software applications Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Additional Information Our eight-chair practice is based in Kerikeri, Northland, (Bay Of Islands is the place to live!
).   BOI is rated the 2nd most popular place to visit in New Zealand.  We also have a two-chair practice in Paihia.
You would have the opportunity to be trained in sedation.   We also do Orthodontics, Implants, one day crowns, and everything else your usual dentist does.
We are looking for someone to fit into a large team and work across all 10 surgeries when needed, you will have trained in all areas.  We have an awesome team and have lots of fun.
