We're looking for someone to lead, inspire and share with the team their passion for IKEA products; someone who is driven to secure an outstanding customer shopping experience through range management, accurate stock forecasting and stock accuracy in IKEA New Zealand. You have a strong understanding of key performance measurements for business planning and monitoring. You have expertise in retail logistics, dynamics and influencing factors. You are driven to develop business strategies and consistently deliver results. You demonstrate effective collaboration and co-creation skills, fostering an environment of teamwork and innovation. You act as an influential bridge between different departments and stakeholders, ensuring engagement, alignment of goals and smooth integration of processes. You are proficient in adapting leadership styles to diverse needs and situations. Forecasting, product range management, stock accuracy, stock structure, and sales steering are key skills that you are proficient in. You understand departmental interactions and their contribution to demand planning and the customer experience. You possess knowledge of supply chain methods, processes, and competency in collaborating with business partners. About this work area As Demand Planning Manager, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Executing commercial activation, range changes, and operational forecasting within the market. Monitoring and ensuring correct range management and stock accuracy in the market. Proactively optimising stock structure, reducing avoidable stock and ensuring healthy capacity utilisation and low costs. Project implementation at a local and national level. Leading the implementation of Market Fulfilment Solutions to ensure correct use of systems to improve efficiency and cost saving. Consistently securing competence and development and driving continuous process improvement for end-to-end fulfilment operations. Guiding, coaching, and inspiring the Demand Planning (Fulfilment Integration) team, collaborating closely with other Fulfilment stakeholders. Fostering a supportive work environment, emphasising communication, flexibility, and a performance-driven culture, while valuing diversity, inclusion, and wellbeing. We may be experts in home furnishing, but it is your expertise in the following we are looking for: At least 2 years' experience as a Demand Planning Manager or equivalent supply chain or logistics role, with at least 3 years of experience in a leadership role. You are committed to IKEA New Zealand in this role for 3 - 5 years. Robust experience in and in-depth understanding of logistics & supply chain management in a dynamic omnichannel retail environment. An advanced level of skills and knowledge in Microsoft Excel. Proven experience seeking out effective and efficient supply chain ways of working and processes, enabling omnichannel growth in the market and within store functions. Excellent communication skills, and ability to inspire, coach and develop people and secure succession to bring together a high performing team that can contribute to business goals. Cultural competency and the ability to integrate equality, diversity, and inclusion practices within a workplace. What you need to know This role is permanent, full-time, 80 hours per/fortnight. The internal job title for this role is Fulfilment Integration Manager. The salary range for this position is NZ$85,000 - $115,500. The work location for this role is IKEA Sylvia Park & external warehouse. As our store operates 7 days per week, you must have the availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of day and evening shifts. You also have the availability to work alternating weekend shifts (both Saturday and Sunday).
