YOUR ROLE As a key member of our dynamic and world-class Tauranga office, your work will play a vital role in driving positive change in the lives of New Zealanders.
As a Demand Planner at Cubro, your main responsibility will be to develop and execute the demand plan, ensuring target product availability levels are achieved while managing inventory levels within budget.
Key aspects of your role will include:
Conducting product forecasting to anticipate demand and optimize inventory levels. Executing daily product purchase orders to maintain stock availability. Managing product levels to budgeted value, stock days, and turnover. Maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders to deliver forecast accuracy. Managing the forecast and replenishment system to achieve high fill rates and balance stock levels within budgeted targets. Analyzing out-of-stocks, excess stock, and working capital reporting in collaboration with Supply Planners. Developing ongoing stakeholder relationships to ensure effective demand planning and maximum service levels. Communicating inventory status and service levels to key stakeholders. Functionally leading ongoing reviews and recommending process and system improvements. Monitoring performance metrics, including critical ordering controls and required performance reporting. ABOUT YOU To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and experience:
Degree qualification. Experienced in inventory and demand management within a high-volume environment, with a track record of leading change and innovation. Familiarity with ERP inventory and demand management systems. Background in modern logistics with a strong focus on inventory, supporting a rapidly growing business with a broad customer base. Ability to operate within agreed budgets, deadlines, and targets. Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to manage a team.
