About the role
We're a high performing, market leading team who has a lot of fun and works with amazing clients. We partner with some of New Zealand's largest Infrastructure businesses, central government and local government on strategic, economic, financial, and long-term, large-scale infrastructure projects. Our work provides strategic, transactional and lead advisory services in relation to our clients' major investments, including strategy and planning, funding and financing, governance and management, business cases, structuring, procurement, transactions, corporate finance and M&A work.
As a Associate Director/Director in our Infrastructure team you will:
Perform and lead the team to undertake commercial and financial analysis on infrastructure projects.
Provide high quality commercial advice to our clients.
Deliver high quality written and presentation materials to clients.
Lead project teams and take on responsibility for the coaching and development of staff across the Infrastructure team.
Build relationships and your brand in the market, as well as find new business opportunities and support the development and delivery of client proposals and pitches.
Play a strategic role in helping our team achieve its growth objectives.
Develop knowledge through appropriate research, keeping current with firm's technical and industry guidance, training and interactions with internal PwC specialists.

Skills and experience
A tertiary qualification in finance or relevant discipline.
Experience with major infrastructure projects in a senior advisory or delivery role.
Experience producing high quality reports.
A strong work ethic, self-motivated, proactive and confident approach to your work.
Exceptional verbal and written communication.
A team focused style with proven experience in mentoring and inspiring team members.
Be an analytical and critical thinker, able to break down complex problems and establish effective solutions in a collaborative way.
Have demonstrated success creating bespoke solutions and adapting within an ever changing environment.
