Nga Korero mo tenei turanga / About the role Our Infrastructure Advisory team is a high performing, market leading team who has a lot of fun and works with amazing clients. We are looking to hire to support our continued growth. Our team partners with some of New Zealand's largest Infrastructure businesses, central government and local government on strategic, economic, financial, and long-term, large-scale infrastructure projects where we are dedicated to delivering outcomes for communities that are fit for the future. Our work provides strategic, transactional and lead advisory services in relation to our clients' major investments, including strategy and planning, funding and financing, governance and management, business cases, structuring, procurement, transactions, corporate finance and M&A work.
We are looking for individuals with high energy, a desire to learn and grow and a keen interest in how infrastructure can impact the lives of New Zealanders. Our work spans a range of skills and areas. We are specifically looking for candidates with strong financial, analytical, corporate finance and/or PPP experience. As an Associate Director/Director in our Infrastructure team you will: Perform and lead the team to undertake commercial and financial analysis on infrastructure projects, including private sector and commercial public sector roles. Provide high quality commercial advice to our clients. Deliver high quality written and presentation materials to clients. Lead project teams and take on responsibility for the coaching and development of staff across the Infrastructure team. Build relationships and your brand in the market, as well as find new business opportunities and support the development and delivery of client proposals and pitches. Play a strategic role in helping our team achieve its growth objectives. Develop knowledge through appropriate research, keeping current with firm's technical and industry guidance, training and interactions with internal PwC specialists. Be part of our leaders in our highly skilled team. Nga pukenga kei a koe / Skills and experience A tertiary qualification in finance or relevant discipline. Experience with major infrastructure projects in a senior advisory or delivery role, this can be in a Big 4, investment banking, Government/public sector, or construction sector environment. Experience producing high quality reports. A strong work ethic, self-motivated, proactive and confident approach to your work. Exceptional verbal and written communication. A team focused style with proven experience in mentoring and inspiring team members. Be an analytical and critical thinker, able to break down complex problems and establish effective solutions in a collaborative way. Have demonstrated success creating bespoke solutions and adapting within an ever changing environment.
