The Role
Based at our Hawkes Bay branch, the Day Shift Team Leader supervises our Freight Handler team in the loading/unloading of freight trucks and containers, and the sorting of customer freight. Assisting in staff rostering and monitoring team performance, the Team Leader will exhibit strong dedication to Health and Safety at all times, and with a hands-on approach ensure the cleanliness and efficiency of our depot. You'll work with the broader management team to ensure service standards are met and exceeded and be a key driver in getting our customers' freight to where it needs to be!
This is a permanent full-time position, working Monday to Friday 10:00am - 7:00pm.
Key responsibilities include:
Building team cohesion and performance
Assisting the distribution manager and branch manager with ensuring Health and Safety processes are followed
Helping out on the floor to ensure inbound and outbound freight is sorted
