We're searching for an experienced Data Governance Project Manager to lead transformative projects and work hands-on with key stakeholders to establish a robust Data Governance Practice. This role is essential to creating a secure, compliant, and data-empowered future.
About the Role:
As our Data Governance Project Manager, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders to drive a resilient Data Governance Practice that ensures data integrity, compliance, and ethical standards throughout the data lifecycle. Reporting to the Head of Data Governance, you'll contribute to increasing our organisation's data maturity, helping us harness data safely to drive growth and success. In this role, you'll take ownership of planning and managing the deliverables for the Data Governance Practice. You'll create and maintain strong, constructive relationships with stakeholders, guiding them through complex changes and ensuring everyone is well-informed and engaged. By actively coordinating with delivery leads, you'll oversee project progress, address any risks, and ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
About you:
You'll have proven experience as a Project Manager within complex, evolving environments, ideally with data-centric projects. With at least 5 years of experience managing large programs or projects, you're skilled at assessing risks, coordinating workstreams, and providing clear, concise project documentation. A strong communicator, you can translate complex topics into accessible language, aligning stakeholders and influencing successful outcomes. Proficiency in project management tools like MS Project, Excel, and Visio is essential, along with excellent organisational and time management skills. You bring a collaborative, team-oriented mindset, eager to share knowledge and contribute to organisational success.
