The Role
We are entering an exciting new phase of growth and are looking for a Data Analyst to join our Business Intelligence team at Seequent. In this role, you will play a key part in a multi-year project focused on integrating financial and business reporting systems, as well as implementing a modern data lake reporting platform using Databricks and Power BI.
You'll be at the forefront of ensuring pristine and accurate Master Data Management (MDM) data. Your role will enhance the quality of source system data and rigorously test curated data output within Databricks and Power BI, making a significant impact at every phase.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Monitor and clean our master data management layer, resolving issues as they arise to maintain impeccable data quality.
Dive into source data, analysing and ensuring it's ready for our data platform team to curate.
Collaborate with owners of source systems to grasp the purpose and limitations of their data.
Design and create data quality dashboards and alerts for data owners to maintain a high level of data quality.
Use your knowledge to identify and validate unusual data patterns, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Harness data quality tools to automate and streamline data validation and cleansing processes.
In order to be successful in this role, you should have:
1-year minimum experience in data analysis, data quality, or a related field.
A meticulous nature with high attention to detail, precision, and consistency.
Exceptional analytical skills and an inquisitive mind.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Experience with SQL and Excel preferred for data querying and data quality analysis.
Ability to dissect problems and understand its component parts.
Detail-oriented with the ability to work with large datasets.
