Alfriston College is a co-educational, state secondary school in South Auckland. We are dedicated to developing and supporting life-long, independent learners.
We seek a dance teacher who is enthusiastic, collaborative, innovative, and has expertise in teaching Dance at both junior and senior levels. New Zealand Curriculum knowledge is essential, along with the ability to build strong connections with our learners, colleagues and school community. Please state your specialist areas and other subjects. The ability to teach Drama would be an advantage.
A commitment to the special character and co-curricular programme of the College is essential.
The terms and conditions, including base salary, for this position are set by the Secondary Teachers' Collective Agreement. The base salary for trained and registered teachers will range from $61,678 to $99,216 depending on applicants' qualifications and experience. Individuals' actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment once a role is confirmed. Beginning Teachers may be eligible for the Voluntary Bonding Scheme.
