As (2IC), you will work closely with the farm manager, you are committed to farming excellence, and lead by example in aspects of the farming operation. You will join our high performing and supportive team with planning and management of the herd and dairy operations. In addition to day-to-day management and guidance of the team, this also involves taking a degree of responsibility for feed allocation, budgeting, animal health and breeding, and animal records. The FarmEarnslaw was fully converted to an organic farm in 2019, it is located less than ten minutes from Taupo, with a range of schooling options nearby. Enjoy a friendly and supportive local community, with the school bus at the gate and easy access to a wide range of recreational activities. Earnslaw is 675 hectares which includes an attached runoff where young stock and winter cows are grazed. Earnslaw is a high performing, profitable farm that milks approx. 800 cows through a 54-bale rotary shed. All supplement is harvested on farm.
