About the Company:Our client is a leading provider of certified storage, handling, and distribution services primarily for hazardous goods. They are dedicated to ensuring safety, service, and care in all aspects of their operations. With a commitment to customer satisfaction and continuous improvement, a need for a newly created role to better manage inventory systems and processes has arisen.About the Job:Based in South Auckland, as the Inventory Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the systems and processes around inventory across four Auckland sites. You will also play a key role in the development of a new facility in Christchurch, offering a unique opportunity to shape processes and systems from the ground up. This role involves implementing and improving inventory management practices, driving greater efficiency and safety. You will lead a team with one inventory supervisor and three inventory controllers, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.About You:We are looking for an experienced Inventory Manager with a background in warehousing and inventory management. A background with dangerous goods would be desirable but not essential. You will need to have strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and mentor a team effectively across multiple locations. Excellent organisational and communication skills are essential, along with a commitment to safety and compliance.
