You will help manage the team daily with planning, pasture management, farm maintenance, milking, fencing, feeding out, and general stock work.You will also relieve the Farm Manager when they are on leave. As a team lead, you'll confidently delegate work and carry on your own work independently to keep the farm running effectively and efficiently.The FarmLocated 15km from Westport, Bassets is a 458-ha property, milking approximately 1060 cows through a modern 60 bail rotary with ACR's and MilkHub. Currently operating on a 6 and 2 roster.Excellent schooling options nearby. Friendly and supportive local community with a school bus and easy access to a wide range of recreational activities.About YouYou'll be good at planning and will have a strong understanding of dairy operations.
