Dairy Automation Specialist – North IslandSupport the introduction of new, high-end dairy automation systemsField-based role, ideally located in Waikato regionShare your passion for the dairy industryIn this highly collaborative and integral role, you will assist in the implementation and continued growth of groundbreaking automated Dairy Milking systems into the New Zealand market with our National Dealer network. Your role will encompass supporting legacy Milking Intelligence and Protrack systems. It will also focus on project management of new large-scale milking and automation system installations, from pre-quotation and working with our Dealers, and Automation Sales and Technical teams.What You Will DoAct as a Sales Lead and support regional Sales Leads with advice and prompt in-field sales support to assist them in articulating to the end user the features and benefits of our automation systems and providing clear technical scoping directions.Support with other key stakeholders the Dealer installation and service delivery ability to meet our requirements.Implement and maintain Dairy Automation products with Dealers.Lead, create and maintain support for legacy Milking Intelligence and Protrack systems.Provide automation technical support for the field service technical team and Dealers. This will require occasional out of office hours 2nd tier phone support.Provide oversight for Automation projects (excluding Dealer managed standalone systems) approval prior to contracting.Create and deliver training and guidance documentation for Dealers and end users.Provide input and support to the NZ Technical Manager and NZ technical team.Attend, support and present at public and internal conferences, conventions and field days.Assist in the development of EHS objectives with Dealers and review progress.What You Must HaveWe are seeking someone with a passion for the dairy industry, with strong technical understanding and nous, who is sales and commercially minded. Able to back a decision. Level of confidence and positivity.What You Can ExpectRegular travel throughout the North Island of NZ and from time to time the South Island to support role requirements.
