We are seeking an experienced Daily Operations Manager to lead and manage day-to-day operations in our dynamic food manufacturing facility. This critical role ensures that production targets are met, quality standards are maintained, and safety protocols are followed, all while driving continuous improvement and operational efficiency. You will play a critical role in coordinating efforts across shifts, optimising resources, and driving continuous improvement. You will be key in setting the tone for operational excellence and ensuring your teams are fully supported to meet production demands efficiently. About the role Oversee daily operations of the production facility, ensuring shift schedules are adhered to and production targets are met. Lead and manage Shift Managers, providing guidance, support, and ensuring clear communication across all shifts. Drive performance by mentoring and developing Shift Managers to ensure they effectively manage their teams of Operators. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food safety regulations at all times. Monitor production data and reports, identifying trends, addressing inefficiencies, and implementing improvements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain) to resolve operational challenges. Implement continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, quality, and safety. Manage staffing levels to ensure adequate resourcing across all shifts, optimising team productivity. Participate in budgeting, resource planning, and cost management to ensure efficient operation. About you Proven leadership experience in a food manufacturing or production environment Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead, inspire, and manage a diverse team across different shifts. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on operational efficiency and continuous improvement. Ability to manage production schedules, shift planning, and resource allocation in a 24/7 operation. Mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot operational issues. Experience with production data analysis and reporting to drive performance improvements. What's in it for you?
