What You'll Be DoingThis role has a mix of 50% support and 50% proactive advisory.
You will gain a deep understanding of each client's organization to ensure successful delivery, support in resolving issues, and help clients maximize their solutions by suggesting enhancements to improve their existing systems. Additionally, you will offer expert advice, provide tailored solutions, and ensure client satisfaction with the services provided. Your proactive approach will help clients optimize their use of Business Central, enhancing their overall business performance.
Configure Dynamics D365 BC SolutionsCustomize Dynamics D365 BC / NAV to align with client-specific business processes.Develop and implement configuration changes based on client requirements.Test and validate configurations to ensure they meet client needs and function correctly.Provide Ongoing SupportMonitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.Respond to client support requests in a timely and efficient manner.Conduct regular system maintenance and updates to ensure optimal performance.Manage a TeamLead and mentor a small team of consultants, providing guidance and support.Assign tasks and manage workloads to ensure timely support ticket resolution.Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.Client PartnershipEngage with clients to understand their business goals and challenges.Conduct regular meetings to review progress and gather feedback.Develop and maintain strong client relationships to foster trust and collaboration.Issue ResolutionIdentify potential issues before they impact on the client's operations.Develop and implement solutions to resolve technical problems.Document issues and resolutions for future reference and continuous improvement.Enhance Client SolutionsAnalyze existing client systems to identify areas for improvement.Propose and implement enhancements to optimize system performance.Stay updated on the latest features and updates in Dynamics D365 BC to provide innovative solutions.Expert AdviceProvide strategic advice on how clients can leverage Business Central to achieve their business objectives.Develop tailored solutions that address specific client needs.Educate clients on best practices and new functionalities within Dynamics D365 BC.Client SatisfactionEnsure all client deliverables meet high-quality standards.Gather and act on client feedback to improve service delivery.Maintain open communication with clients to ensure their needs are being met.Proactive ApproachAnticipate client needs and offer proactive solutions to potential challenges.Regularly review client systems to identify opportunities for improvement.Develop and implement strategies to enhance overall business performance using Business Central.What Is Required5+ years' experience in providing objective advice, expertise and specialist skills in Dynamics 365 Business Central / Dynamics NAV Development to a wide range of clients.Be able to analyse, troubleshoot, scope and design requirements (including efforts required) and development (including unit-testing) of requests for our clients.Great ability to work independently as well as part of a team.Ability to lead and mentor a team of consultants, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to enhance team performance and morale.Confidence working directly with clients (remotely or on-site), and aptitude for gaining a thorough understanding of their vision will be huge strengths.Demonstrated experience in a support environment – incident management, release management & change management will be familiar terms to you.Be an expert trouble shooter with great problem-solving skills and love getting your teeth stuck into puzzles.Experience in estimating BC services, capturing scope & requirements, writing user stories and development specifications.Manage and develop customer relationships and perceptions to achieve mutual goals.A hunger for knowledge with the passion to learn about the latest innovations in the industry (and multiple industries representing Clients' breadth), which you will enjoy sharing with the wider team.Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and to tight deadlines.Committed to ethical practice, equity and diversity.Good leadership skills and a passion to bring out the best in your team.Excellent interpersonal, presentation, negotiation, conflict resolution and liaison skills.Strong business acumen and organisational and planning skills.Detail oriented and diligent.Entrepreneurial by nature with a strong sense of ownership.
