About the RoleWorking for a large government organisation, as a Cyber Security Architect you will play a key role in cybersecurity assurance processes across various business groups, ensuring the integrity and security of key systems.
You'll be joining a talented team within a larger security practice, and will be responsible for providing guidance and recommendations for security assurance activities, certification processes, and engaging with business teams.As the ideal candidate, you will have strong knowledge across Certification & Accreditation practice generally, as well as modern frameworks such as NZISM, PSR, ISO27001 and NIST.
You will be capable of both hands-on security work, and will be confident in engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.Day to Day ResponsibilitiesProvide security assurance and recommendations for key systems.Drive certification and security assurance activities.Actively participate in security remediation efforts.Build and maintain relationships with business and system owners.Skills & Experience RequiredWe are seeking a seasoned professional with:Proven experience in public sector certification and accreditation processes.Strong understanding of cybersecurity challenges in multi-hosted cloud environments.Extensive knowledge of contemporary security practices and principles.Ability to engage and build trust with a range of stakeholders.Eligibility for New Zealand Security Clearance.How to ApplyClick APPLY and include your CV and cover letter.
