The Cyber Project Lead role sits within our programme space and works across our Cyber Service groups. In this role, the Project Lead will collaborate with our Programme Manager, Business Analysts, and key stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of our committed outcomes.
You will have knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals and a broad set of skills and experience from across all technology.
The Cyber Project Lead is an in-depth specialist who provides expert knowledge to squads, enabling them to achieve their goals. Specifically, you will focus on planning, organising, and leading the successful implementation of a variety of Cyber Security initiatives within the Cyber Security Programme. Your experience and knowledge in successfully delivering technology projects will play a crucial role in achieving these objectives.
The Cyber Project Lead will be critical in planning, designing, and delivering key Cyber initiatives and activities.
Coordinate with the Cyber Security Service Group leadership team to appoint individuals to project teams as needed.
Collaborate with the Cyber Programme Manager, Cyber Business Analysts, and change managers to ensure the appropriate quality, on-time, and within-budget delivery of new products or services from projects per the programme plan and governance arrangements.
Regular reporting on related projects' budgets, detailing expenditure and costs against delivered and realised benefits as the progress of the project.
Providing checkpoint updates on all programme activities within an agreed schedule with the key Cyber Security stakeholders.
Assess, analyse, develop, document, and implement change work based on QBR and ad hoc requests as agreed with the Programme Manager.
Excellent understanding of troubleshooting methodology to provide root cause analysis for primary impacting service and operational problems.
Working closely with the Service Owners and Programme Manager, establish robust and productive working relationships with the broader business.
Provide high-level consultation to business/technology stakeholders to support relevant partners/vendors.
Identify, surface risks, and collaborate with Technology Risk Services/Risk Rep to address risk gaps.

Experience managing technical change and delivery with solid engagement and communications with stakeholders, including internal business customers, vendors, and internal technical squads.
Experience delivering business outcomes utilising a variety of methodologies, including Agile.
You will role-model the culture & mindsets; create transparency horizontally (squads) and vertically (from leadership to teams).
Experience managing the delivery of Technology projects.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including confidence in communicating with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to foster and manage stakeholder relationships up to executive leadership level.
Strong financial acumen and reporting ability.
Experience within a regulatory delivery environment within financial services is a significant benefit.
Excellent time management and ability to work under pressure.
Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and improve processes.
Agile values– adaptable to change and collaboration, maintains focus on continuous improvement and continuous delivery of business and customer value.
Growth mindset to develop skills and knowledge that are both deep and broad (T-shaped) to contribute to team delivery.

Ability to explain and breakdown complex, technical insights in a clear and compelling way.
