The role:
We are looking for a dynamic team player with proven sales acumen that is hungry to venture out and make their mark. Work directly with existing clients to support, cross sell, and upgrade their implements, parts, accessories, and other items such as generators.
This position would suit someone from the heavy machinery, automotive, farm machinery or similar sector. Ideally you will currently be in a sales representative position, however you may be looking to get off the tools or be working in a parts department.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be based in either Tauranga or Taupo. Your territory will cover Tauranga, Taupo, Rotorua Napier, Palmerston North, Wellington and surrounding areas. This an intermediate level position.
Responsibilities include:
Grow sales of our after-market products and service
Completing excavator undercarriage assessments, pricing, and quoting of major parts and rebuild jobs
Operate a regular call cycle for our existing customers across your regions using Salesforce CRM
Ensure our vast range of products and services are known to the customer
Actively work with the sales team to ensure lead generation
Actively promote the service workshops generating new business opportunities
Identify customers' needs and match TDX products, keeping up to date with technical information
Continual improvement in processing customer enquiries, ensuring they have everything they need on time.
Work with internal departments to provide an exceptional service experience to our customers
Follow and respect all Health and Safety guidelines
We are ideally looking for:
Someone who thrives when interacting with customers, building relationships, and understanding customers business
Displays a passion for sales and loves what they do
You will be energetic, self-driven, have high levels of proven initiative, problem solving skills, and internal drive
Have worked in the industry
This position involves travelling into sometimes remote, but beautiful parts NZ, so a clean full license is required
