We are currently seeking a full time (40-45 hours) Customer Service Team Leader for our Mitre 10 store in Onehunga who is available to work a rotating rota including a weekend shift.
You will need to have proven supervisory experience , with a track record for successfully leading a team to perform.
Your ability to make sound decisions quickly will make you an ideal candidate along with your ability to adapt, be flexible and to relate to people of all ages and experience.
About The Role Reporting to the Trade Team Leader, you will be responsible for the day-to-day smooth running of the Checkouts, Returns Desk and Customer Service Desk.
This Will See You Taking Responsibility For ensuring customers are the number one priority, receiving the high standard of service they are accustomed to ensuring the department is effectively managed and maintained leading the team to ensure they perform to their maximum potential, promoting a team culture that encourages team results as well as personal growth About You To be successful in this role you will need: some experience in managing a team or some understanding of staffing requirements to be approachable, positive and have the ability to remain calm under stress and manage contrasting priorities in a professional manner excellent listening and communication skills with the ability to engage with internal and external customers of different backgrounds a passion for customer service excellence, an outgoing personality with a positive outlook on life and the ability to drive difficult situations towards positive outcomes a strong focus on solutions and a high level of personal initiative previous retail and Point-of-Sale (POS) system experience On top of supervisory experience the successful candidate will possess: strong computer literacy a people-orientated personality an enthusiasm and team spirit good time management a quick and alert mind with the ability to adapt and be flexible What We Offer competitive remuneration staff buying privileges free onsite car parking industry leading learning & development program access to nationally recognised qualification programs great company culture About Us Grove Mitre 10 has been in Onehunga for decades and is well known by the locals for their friendly team, great range and fantastic value.
