It would suit someone with team-leading experience looking to make the next step into a sole charge role in a safe environment, or a seasoned Manager perhaps looking for a slower pace. We have a great support system to help this role and location succeed, including in-depth training, but you will need to be comfortable with your Manager not being on site with you all the time and working alone. Our support office and Manager are based in Auckland, but she will travel regularly to Wellington as will other supportive members of the Management team - you won't be short of help while you learn the ropes, and we will give you greater autonomy to make it your own as you go for all things Wellington specific. Prior experience in the rental car industry, working alone, and upselling services is advantageous. Hours and days will vary across a 7-day rotating roster.What will you be doing?You will be sole charge handling all day-to-day operations to ensure we are giving our customers the full Snap experience we are so proud of. Starting with:Communicating with our after-hours support to ensure vehicle pick-ups and returns are smooth (this is on site).Making sure the vehicles are cleaned to a high standard.Ensuring there is the right availability for the pick-ups for the day, and that there are other clean vehicles available for any upgrades/new bookings.Serving the customers, being comfortable explaining the insurance/other options to them and ensuring we are meeting their needs with their hire.It will be hands-on; you will be the only person working in the branch at a time, so you can't be afraid to get your hands dirty - grooming, shuttle driving, customer service, and all the backend branch functions the Manager/Supervisor is responsible for.Chasing bad debt, overdue vehicles, and insurance claims in conjunction with relevant teams in Support Office.Ensuring fleet is maintained with up-to-date COF's and Rego's with the support of our National Fleet Manager.Any other reasonable duties to ensure the branch runs efficiently.If this sounds like you, hit APPLY now!
