About you We are looking for someone to join the team on a 12-month Fixed Term basis.
In this role you will take inbound calls to assist our members with various queries, ranging from assisting with their holiday home bookings, through to understanding their needs and triaging to a team of specialists. We go above and beyond for all our members and of course, this will come naturally to you.
You are an amazing communicator, are reliable, positive, and customer focused with an ability to solve a range of problems on the spot. You have resilience and bring previous customer service experience, possibly from working in a call centre. You are confident in using different technology and systems and can learn new processes quickly. You have experience with CRMs, as well as a high level of attention to detail and the ability to multi-task. We access sensitive and confidential information, so discretion and privacy are critical in our work.
About us The NZ Police Association provides a range of services to police staff (both currently serving and retired) and their families. We have a team of over 60 people in various roles dedicated to providing exceptional service to our members. In the Welfare team, our services include health, life, and general insurance products plus a holiday home booking service for our members and their families.
Our awesome Member Services Centre team is the first point of contact for our members, and we pride ourselves on responding to a variety of different enquiries promptly, efficiently and confidentially.
You will work with a small and energetic team, in a collaborative environment, at our modern office right in the middle of the CBD.
