Our work supports a wide range of New Zealand organisations including the New Zealand Defence Force, Hospitality, Commercial, and Retail customers, and the US Antarctic operations from premises at Christchurch Airport.
The role We are currently seeking two Customer Service Representatives to assist us on a fixed term basis from 16 September 2024 – 28 February 2025
If you thrive on providing exceptional customer service, this role is for you! You will be tasked with the coordination and administration of accommodation and travel bookings.
To be successful in this role you should: Be detail oriented with strong organisational and customer service skills Be enthusiastic and motivated Enjoy working cohesively in a team environment Possess computer literacy with windows-based computer applications, primarily MS Outlook, Word and Excel Previous experience in the travel or hotel industries, in particular customer service, reception and accommodation bookings would be an advantage. This is a full time position, rostered across 5 days (including weekends) In return for your skills and experience we offer you the opportunity to work in a unique environment with a close knit team who play an important role supporting US scientific research in Antarctica. The successful applicants will be required to hold a current clean Driver's Licence, undergo a pre-employment Drug and Alcohol test, must be able to pass a US Government background investigation, security and reference investigations for the issue of an Airport Identity Card, and hold New Zealand residency or a valid New Zealand Work Permit.
