Description Our Mico Henderson store is a busy branch, providing trade solutions to a loyal customer base, including home builders and the local business sector.About the role:We have an exciting role, where you'll join a stable branch and enjoy the variety and opportunities of working with a close-knit, experienced team within a large organisation.This is a varied role that will see you involved mainly in face-to-face customer service, but also pitching in with picking day to day orders, cycle counting stock or occasionally driving the odd customer delivery to get an order out.In addition you will support with some of our smaller key accounts and helping to manage those relationships.You'll ensure that our customers, who are made up of tradies, businesses and home-owners, are greeted with a cheerful smile and exceptional service, but even working in inwards goods or doing deliveries will bring your great customer service skills into play, as you liaise with them on their orders and support them to keep their businesses on the go!You'll have the chance to learn our products, and this will give you the opportunity to progress in the branch, the business, and the organisation.Product or industry knowledge would be a real bonus, but we have heaps of great training materials, if you're a willing learner!This is a permanent, 40 hours per week, working Monday to Saturday, with rostered weekend work.About you:To shine in this role, you'll bring a customer-focused attitude and strong work ethic to the business and be prepared to work closely and flexibly with the rest of our team.Our Henderson team work collaboratively and so your strong teamwork skills are essential to this role.The ability to build rapport and relationships should be your strength.You will be an engaging and adaptable individual, able to build rapport and effectively communicate at all levels, whilst being customer-centric and an awesome team player.What we can offer you:In return, we'll offer you a great competitive package, excellent opportunities for training and development, and a strong and support team environment.As Mico New Zealand is also part of Fletcher Building, there are great opportunities for career training and development, plus big-company benefits, such as an Employee Education Fund and an exciting and forward-thinking new Parental Leave Policy.Please note, a full pre-employment medical, including a drug test, will be required and you must currently be legally entitled to live and work permanently in New Zealand.We are proud of the incredible diversity of people who make up our business!As an Equal Opportunity Employer, we strive to create an inclusive environment for all our employees across our national network of branches throughout New Zealand.
