Since we first set sail in 2002, here at Bluebridge Cook Strait Ferries we've worked hard to make sure each of our sailings are a unique and memorable experience!
Our Customer Service Representatives are the face of Bluebridge. They are here to help make our customers realise the excitement of a Cook Strait Ferry crossing from the time of their booking! They welcome our passengers at our terminals, checking in luggage and helping them embark on their journey.
If you come and join us at Bluebridge, you'll work with a great bunch of people who are committed to providing a fantastic experience for our passengers.
As well as engaging with passengers over the phone and greeting them when they arrive to travel, you'll also get out and about across the port, car park marshalling and even helping with lines, helping to tie up and let go ships as they arrive and depart. Therefore, applicants need to be fit and healthy to be suitable for the role!
As Bluebridge is a 24 x 7 operation, we need Customer Service Representatives at all hours, so the role involves shift work. You will work on a fortnightly rotating roster which includes early mornings and late nights, weekends, and public holidays across our peak summer period. We have fixed-term and permanent positions available in our passenger terminal team.

Our preferred candidate will have a full, clean driver's license! If you have a restricted license and are close to your full license we would still love to hear from you!
Applicants for this position must currently reside in New Zealand and have valid working rights (valid open visa or residency).
