Do you have a passion for assessing queries, providing solutions, turning around situations and leaving customers with a positive experience? Our client is a well-established government organisation in Palmerston North and we are recruiting for confident and articulate Customer Service Representatives to work in their inbound Contact Centre. The role: The team is diverse, the work is interesting and fast paced, and no two days are the same! In this office based role, you will take inbound phone calls from customers who wish to enquire about services or have a question dealt with. You will be processing enquiries and providing first call resolutions to the customer over the phone. You Will Be Responsible For: Answering inbound calls from members of the public. Providing accurate information to general enquiries. Operating with a high quality of customer service through fast and efficient response times. Dates: Starting on 29th October for 6 months, with potential for longer-term or permanent positions. Shifts: Successful applicants will be placed on a rotating roster between Monday to Sunday (7 days a week). Hours: 25 hours per week guaranteed between the hours of 6am – 1am, with opportunity to get up to 40 hours! Training: Ongoing learning and development is offered – gain work experience in other areas, receive one-on-one coaching and feedback. We are happy to consider you as long as you are available for a minimum of any 5 days across a 7-day week. Applicants Should Have: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Previous Customer Service experience either phone-based or face-to-face. Intermediate computer skills. You MUST be available to attend 4 weeks of training 5 days a week from 8am – 4pm.
