New World Metro Queen Street is seeking a Customer Service & Online Manager to join our team here at New World Metro Queen St.
As a department leader, you'll play an integral part in our mission to be the best grocery store in Auckland CBD, continuously delivering an awesome shopping experience for our in-store and online customers.
The Role:
As Customer Service & Online Manager, you'll be part of the frontline team. Here, customers have the most contact with our team, and we're focused on continuing to build and develop our awesome customer experience both in-store and online to be second to none.

Create, drive, and deliver customer experiences worth walking past the competition for.
Responsible for the day-to-day running of the checkout and online departments.
Ensure all customers' needs are met and they receive the highest quality customer service.
Complete rosters, conduct performance reviews, and training.
Set the standards and ensure they are met day in and day out.
Build relationships with the wider team and management to achieve the very best results.
Ensure the responsible sale of alcohol and restricted sales.

What are we looking for:

Proven checkout management or 2IC experience is advantageous.
Previous experience in checkout.
Previous experience in online operations is advantageous.
LCQ and/or Managers Certificate and experience selling alcohol.
Great people skills and leadership potential.
Reliable, honest, and a good team player.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Proven customer service experience.
Sound computer literacy and eagerness to learn and use the latest technology.
Flexibility with working days and hours.
