You'll be a crucial part of our team, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our yard, maintaining excellent customer relationships, and supporting our logistics processes.As the Customer Service and Logistics Coordinator, you'll handle all customer enquiries and manage logistics operations, including deliveries, stock control, and transportation. You'll work closely with Account Managers, the Operations Manager, the N/I Yard Manager, and external logistics partners to maintain a seamless flow of products and high customer satisfaction.Duties include but are not limited to:Handle in-person and phone customer enquiries with professionalism and enthusiasm, assisting with product selection and answering queries.Maintain thorough product knowledge to offer effective guidance on brick selections, samples, and FAQs.Resolve customer issues courteously, escalating to the Customer Service Manager when necessary for complex matters.Ensure the showroom is clean, professional, and well-maintained, upholding high standards of dress and presentation.Prepare and report on showroom visits, order statuses, and customer interactions to keep management informed.Oversee pickable processes in the Tauranga warehouse, ensuring timely, accurate order processing, meeting service levels, and resolving any issues.Commit to WHS/OHS policies for a safe work environment and comply with MPI regulations, supporting internal audits as needed.Coordinate with freight carriers on delivery instructions, manage stock movements, and ensure timely receipting within the yard.After 2 pm, focus yard staff on high-priority make-up orders to meet service needs.Maintain accurate records in stock and logistics systems, supporting banking procedures, processing customer orders, and generating works orders for production.Participate in regular stock takes, report any discrepancies, and keep systems updated.Identify cost efficiencies in logistics processes and ensure data accuracy to minimise errors and reduce operational costs.Success RequirementsUnderstanding of logistics management and process efficiency principles.Proven experience engaging with customers and resolving issues.Excellent organisational and administrative skills.High level of accuracy with the ability to handle multiple tasks.Strong collaboration skills.Competent with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Who We AreUnder the Brickworks Building Products umbrella are some of the world's best-known building material brands.
