A typical day will see you working with our customers to onboard them in an accurate and timely manner, as well as executing AML due diligence and compliance checks in collaboration with our Risk & Compliance Manager.The role in more detail & what you are going to be doing:This is a fixed term 12 month opportunity (40 hours per week) Monday to Friday - hours of work between 8am and 8pm.
We offer a hybrid work environment; however, training will occur in the office for a minimum of 4 weeks.
Post training, assessment will be conducted to approve the ability to work from home.Identify, create, and document processes for the onboarding of a variety of products and management of exceptionsSecure management and file documents that pertain to due diligence and AML complianceMonitor new and/or maintenance requests for any products in Worldline NZ's systemConduct customer due diligence (as necessary) and perform validation checks for onboarding of merchants by liaising with internal or external stakeholders to ensure that all business requirements are metRespond to inquiries and escalate issues to appropriate internal teams as these may be related to Worldline NZ's productIdentify potential risks of money laundering and/or fraud by raising to relevant stakeholdersPeriodically conduct audit/checks on portals accessible by Channel PartnersKeep abreast of the AML legislation and changes that may be relevant to customer due diligence in collaboration with the Head of Risk and CompliancePerform other administrative duties as requiredBe involved in special projects and audit processes as requiredHere's what we need from you:Proven track record of success in an administrative or data entry role with high attention to detail.Customer service & a passion for customers and amazing customer service is what will get you out of bed in the morning.Astute communicator who can interact well, across audience of different levels and diverse backgrounds.Able to adapt to changing priorities with ease, while continuing to meet established deadlines.You are flexible, adaptable to change and eager to help the team.You have a process improvement mindset and will seek to streamline where possible.You are comfortable with routine tasks.Bonus points if you come with:Prior experience in banking, financial or payments environmentsExperience in AML, knowledge of NZ framework preferred.Understand and knowledge of up to date legislation around AML /CFT ActStrong Influencing skills; Past experience partnering with teams across departments to accomplish objectivesWhat's like to work here?We realise what's important to you and someone else can differ, so we offer a range of benefits to appeal to everyone, you included!Collaboration & connection, with rad events that promote our new hybrid culture!A beautiful new purpose-built office in the heart of Auckland CBD – Harbour Views, Bar and Gym Onsite, Top-notch technology (need we say more?!
