Are you one of them?Who are we looking forWe have an exciting permanent opportunity for an incredible Customer Delivery Officer to join our team in Huntly at our library. If you have a passion for our community, the ability to instantly build rapport with anyone, and thrive on providing exceptional customer service, this may be the role for you!The purpose of this role is to deliver effective support to our community, with focus on delivering exceptional customer service as the interface between Waikato District Council and its customers. As part of this role you will have a range of varied tasks including Council front-of-house and library services, as well as being an ambassador for our district.Ideally, you'll have some work experience in a customer or community-focused environment, have strong interpersonal skills and be an avid reader. Team fit is important to us and we require a reliable and responsible person, a team player and self-starter who enjoys working with people from all walks of life, from children and youth right through to the elderly. You have a passion to deliver outstanding customer service, you have good computer skills, you are organised, proactive and self-motivated and have the ability to work under pressure. You should have a positive "can do" attitude.
