In doing so you will also ensure the CDH operates to exceed our obligations as an exemplary operator under the DVSA Earned Recognition scheme.Operational PerformanceDemonstrate an understanding of the Partnership strategy and how the CDH network operational strategy contributes to and complements the vision.Demonstrate an understanding of the bigger picture in terms of the economy, the competition, competitor proposition and external factors that influence retail delivery functions.Set a clear vision and direction to achieve outcomes aligned to the Partnership strategy.Contribute to divisional initiatives, pilots and working groups to maximise network opportunities through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.CustomerLead and empower Partners and third party colleagues to deliver an excellent end to end customer experience by role modelling outstanding customer service in everything you do.Proactively support Partners to act as brand ambassadors, ensuring that the Customer Delivery Proposition and the Partnership brand vision are all achieved.Essential skills you'll needEssentialCertificate of Professional Competence for Transport Managers (Road Haulage)Previous experience leading in Supply Chain operationsProven track record as a specialist in people management (succession planning, Diversity & Inclusion and empowerment).Proven communication and engagement skillsExcellent stakeholder management skills.Resource management and implementation experience.Strong customer centric approach.Proven financial acumen and budget control.Proven and effective working knowledge of IT Systems.DesirableIncident management experienceDisciplinary and Grievance experienceIOSH & NEBOSHLevel 3 Food SafetyExperience in employment engagement surveysBenefits of the Partnership and the Role- Hybrid Working.- Full-time working holiday entitlement 25 days holiday, plus public and bank holidays (this is prorated for part time hours).- Enhanced work life balance, including focus on well being and flexible working and our marketing leading equal parenthood leave Policy.- Defined Contribution pension scheme where your contributions will be matched by the Partnership (up to 8% of pay) and, after three years' service, you'll receive an additional Partnership contribution of 4% of pay, regardless of whether you pay in or not.- You'll get Partnership discount in store and online once you complete your Earning Membership period.
