Crew Foreman

As a Crew Foreman at Rosewarne Cable Loggers, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our logging crews in the Thames Waikato region. This full-time position is responsible for leading and coordinating the work of a team of logging professionals, ensuring efficient and safe operations that align with our company's high standards.
What you'll be doing
Supervise and coordinate the work of logging crews, delegating tasks and ensuring deadlines are met
Monitor and maintain safety standards, providing training and guidance to team members
Liaise with clients and other stakeholders to ensure their needs are met
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement them
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to crew activities
Provide regular progress updates to management
What we're looking for
Minimum 5 years' experience in a supervisory role within the industry working with hauler crews
Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and stakeholders
Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
Proficient in the use of relevant software and technologies
Valid driver's licence and certification in logging operations
