As a Credit Risk Lead, you will:
Work with the Lend and Protect Tribe to deliver the nCino project, implementing a new business banking lending system. This includes acting as the Subject Matter Expert for line 1 Credit Risk within the Project team and proactively collaborating with stakeholders to identify, monitor and manage risks with the deliverables.
Be Line 1 Credit Risk point of contact and provide insights to identify weaknesses and opportunities, working collaboratively to address items identified.
Being proactive to add value to stakeholders and ensure great outcomes are achieved.
This is a Fixed Term until November 2025, based at ASBs North Wharf building in Wynyard Quarter.
Your knowledge of Credit Policy and risk management practices together with your ability to build relationships and business partnerships at all levels within and outside division will make you a trusted adviser to the areas you support. You will have the confidence to independently challenge and constructively work together with business areas and the wider risk, compliance, and conduct teams.
Minimum Requirements:
3-5 years minimum Small Business/Rural/Commercial banking experience, with experience in loan origination and management, including Home Lending.
Strong personal leadership and team membership skills.
Ability to influence at all levels within the Bank.
Demonstrated judgment and decision-making capability.
Excellent planning and organisational skills.
Demonstrated negotiation and analytical skills.
High attention to detail and ability to develop efficient processes.
