A large, shared services team is looking for an experienced Credit Control Team Lead! This role has become available as their new team is being established in their head offices in East Tamaki. About the Role: As the Credit Control Team Lead, you will provide guidance and support to the credit control and accounts receivable team, which is made up of 4 Credit Controllers and 2 Accounts Receivable Administrators. You will provide clear objectives to the team to ensure efficient collection processes and minimise outstanding debts. Other tasks in this role will include: Ensure all relevant company policies and legislation are understood and adhered to Maintenance of the company's PPSR Register Liaise with Collection Agencies, Receivers, and Liquidators Overdue payments are promptly investigated and pursued with customers Monthly balance sheet reconciliations Review, provide and implement recommendations on best practices Ensure performance reviews are completed Provide reporting to management as and when required About You: To be suitable for this role, you must have experience leading a credit control and/or accounts receivable team. You will be a natural problem solver and have the ability to effectively manage a transactional team. You will also bring some of the below skills/experience: 3 - 5 years' experience leading a credit control or accounts receivable team Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships Team player and able to work collaboratively with peers, managers, and other staff Good work ethic and attitude Benefits: In return, you will be offered a permanent opportunity as a Credit Control Team Lead, join a reputable private sector organisation, and potentially take some time off your commute to work!
