A large, shared services team is looking for an experienced Credit Control Team Lead! This role has become available as their new team is being established in their head offices in East Tamaki.This organisation offers a great opportunity to join an industry-leading, NZ owned brand that boasts a fantastic culture, where you'll benefit from working for a supportive team and enjoy a flexible work policy that allows working from home 2 days a week (once you have completed training).About the Role:As the Credit Control Team Lead, you will provide guidance and support to the credit control and accounts receivable team, which is made up of 4 Credit Controllers and 2 Accounts Receivable Administrators. You will provide clear objectives to the team to ensure efficient collection processes and minimise outstanding debts. Other tasks in this role will include:Ensure all relevant company policies and legislation are understood and adhered toMaintenance of the company's PPSR RegisterLiaise with Collection Agencies, Receivers, and LiquidatorsOverdue payments are promptly investigated and pursued with customersMonthly balance sheet reconciliationsReview, provide and implement recommendations on best practicesEnsure performance reviews are completedProvide reporting to management as and when requiredAbout You:To be suitable for this role, you must have experience leading a credit control and/or accounts receivable team. You will be a natural problem solver and have the ability to effectively manage a transactional team.
