What you'll do: As a Corporate Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing the financial health of our client's organisation.
Your primary responsibility will be maintaining the integrity of financial accounting within the company.
You will also coordinate the preparation of the company plan, assist business managers in identifying cost optimisation opportunities, provide management with routine information and analysis on performance against plans, and ensure a strong control environment within finance.
Additionally, you will manage various corporate finance responsibilities such as month-end closing, reporting management, cash forecasting, overhead budget management, fixed asset management.
Your role will also involve evaluating financial systems, internal controls, procedures and practices and making appropriate recommendations for improvements.
Coordinate the preparation of the company plan and assist business managers to identify opportunities to optimise costs and assets use.
Provide management with routine information, analysis and advice on ongoing performance against plans.
Ensure existence of a strong control environment within finance by advising on compliance to policies and procedures.
Coordinate all activities related to the provision of forecasts for all types of expenditures in the entity.
Manage the delivery of corporate finance responsibilities including month end closing, reporting management, cash forecasting, overhead budget management, fixed asset management.
Evaluate financial systems, internal controls, procedures and practices and make appropriate recommendations for improvements.
What you bring: The ideal candidate for this Corporate Finance Manager position brings a wealth of experience in managing financial operations within a multinational organisation.
You possess a BCom degree along with CA or CPA qualification.
With at least 4 years' experience under your belt, you have developed strong computer literacy skills with a proficiency in spreadsheeting.
Your understanding of marketing and finance systems such as BPC/SAP will be crucial in this role.
You have a solid grasp of budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning principles and processes.
Your knowledge of NZ Financial Reporting Standards, other relevant accounting standards and current tax legislation is up-to-date.
Experience working in the accounting function of a multinational FMCG organisation will be highly beneficial.
Lastly, you have practical experience managing integrated financial accounting software.
BCom degree along with CA or CPA qualification.
Minimum 4 years experience in a similar role.
Strong computer literacy with proficiency in spreadsheeting skills.
Understanding of marketing and finance systems (BPC/SAP).
