We also have a network of freight hubs throughout the North Island, to improve access to the port for the provinces.We are looking for experienced maintenance fitters to join our Engineering shift team. The maintenance fitters provide mechanical support to the operational plant in the areas of preventative maintenance, installations, improvements and break down service 24/7.Key Duties:Undertake scheduled planned maintenanceAttend and resolve unplanned maintenanceAttend breakdowns and contribute to rectification solutions and communicate all breakdowns to Engineering ManagerUndertake all duties in compliance with company Health & SafetyTrade qualified fitter & turner / maintenance fitter with experience working with heavy machineryRelevant experience gained in repairs and maintenance in an Engineering environmentAble to work alongside others in a team environmentIdeally have 3+ years experience as a maintenance fitterYou will work rotating shift patterns consisting of mornings 6.00am - 2.00pm, afternoons 2.00pm - 10.00pm and nights 10.00pm - 6.00am.
