Te Haeata / The Opportunity
As a Court Registry Support Officer, you will support the Court's day-to-day operations by assisting with the administration function and providing customer service.
Your day will involve engaging with participants, including Lawyers, Judges, and the public, whether over the phone or face to face.
You will work closely with Court Registry Officers, supporting them while they manage case files. Day to day, your tasks will include but are not limited to:
Providing timely and efficient customer service
Supporting Judges and Court Registry Officers in and out of the courtroom
Introducing Judges / Judicial Officers into court (in both English and Te Reo Maori)
Supporting the jury service function and the jurors for trial hearings
Providing general administrative support for Court Registry Officers, including photocopying, scanning, and filing
Managing the incoming and outgoing mail
Managing evidence exhibits
Data entry
Providing support and advice to our diverse customer base

To be successful in this role, you will have proven customer service experience. You will need to be confident, able to multitask, flexible, and easily adapt to change. You will also enjoy a challenge and be motivated to learn.

Utu a-tau / Salary
The remuneration band for this role is $54,343 to $74,416; the appointing salary will be based on skills and experience.
