Te Haeata/The OpportunityWe have two fixed term vacancies in the Civil team, both are for a period of 5 months. In this role as a Court Registry Officer, you will work with a team responsible for management of Civil case files. This role is suitable for someone who is adaptable, excellent at multi-tasking and isn't daunted by the court environment.Your main responsibilities include:Court taking – ensuring the court proceedings run smoothly by preparing the court space, managing AVL attendance, and thinking on your feet to trouble-shoot.Case management - managing a high volume of Civil cases, including maintaining both physical and electronic records, corresponding with counsel and interacting with Judges.Receiving and processing of documents – ensuring documents filed are processed with efficiency and accuracy.
