Court LibrarianWellington District Court Te Haeata / The OpportunityA full-time 12 month vacancy for a Court Librarian at the District Court in Wellington has arisen within Judicial Libraries.This is covering a parental leave vacancy. As a member of the Judicial Libraries / He puna matauranga ture team you will be responsible for delivering library and information services to the Judges, judicial support and court staff in courts in the Wellington region.Travel to courts in the region is part of the role. You will play an integral part in ensuring Judicial Libraries meets the information needs of the judiciary now and in the future.It is a role to which you will be able to bring your experience of providing special library research and information services in a legal or service-oriented organisation.Judicial Libraries is reviewing the way we deliver training and the research and current awareness services we offer. We are also expanding our electronic resources collections and there is a particular focus on Matauranga Maori in the services we offer and how that contributes to Te Ao Marama. You will have the opportunity to be involved in some or all of those projects.
