About the role ZIM New Zealand is seeking a visionary Country Sales Manager to captain our sales force. Key Responsibilities Spearhead all sales activities, driving performance and growth Lead and mentor a talented sales team, inspiring them to exceed volume and revenue targets Develop and execute strategic sales plans to acquire new customers and strengthen existing relationships Manage a portfolio of key accounts, fostering long-term partnerships Analyze market trends and customer feedback to identify business opportunities Collaborate in setting sales budgets, plans, and objectives Ensure accurate rate quoting, customer support, and promotion of ZIM's services and e-Commerce solutions We are looking for Bachelor's degree in business administration, Sales, or a related field; advanced degree preferred Proven track record in sales management within the shipping/logistics industry Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities Outstanding communication and negotiation skills Extensive knowledge of the container shipping market and industry trends Proficiency in CRM systems and data analysis Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service If you're a sales maverick ready to make waves in the container shipping industry, ZIM is the perfect vessel for your ambitions.
