We are offering an opportunity for a highly self-motivated, qualified Counsellor to join our wider energetic and supportive Social Service team and contribute to and celebrate the positive outcomes for tamariki/children and their whanau/family in our community.
This role can be varied and includes providing counselling services, home, school and office-based support for families – adults and young people.
We are keen to hear from you if you possess the following skills: Competency and strong relationships skills in working with children, adolescents and their families/whanau and other professionals Competency in working with child protection issues  Good self-management and time management Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and competent computer skills Knowledge and a working understanding of mental health issues A full New Zealand driver's license and use of a car for work purposes  You must be eligible to work in New Zealand.
