Grow your passion & reach your full potential, with the support of our whanau!We're looking for a Corporate Insurance Manager (Risk Specialist) to join the Corporate Insurance team. You will be reporting to the Senior Manager Corporate Insurance and part of the wider Legal, Enterprise Risk and Governance function.Being part of the specialised Corporate Insurance team that implements our company-wide global insurance strategy, you will be part of a team that is responsible for aviation and non-aviation insurance policy renewals and claims, liaising with a wide range of internal stakeholders across the airline as well as our insurance brokers and underwriters.The role you will play:You will assist with a wide range of tasks and projects including: insurance renewals including sourcing and collating internal information across our business units; managing and monitoring claims; assisting with the running of Air New Zealand's captive insurance company including governance and regulatory filings; preparing correspondence, documents, reports and presentations for internal and external use; supporting procurement with review of insurance provisions in key contracts; providing practical and commercial advice to internal stakeholders on all aspects of insurance cover; building relationships with key internal stakeholders; identifying and implementing opportunities for innovation and productivity improvements.Our ideal candidate:A university graduate with 2-5 year of relevant insurance or finance related work experience, holding (or working towards) ANZIIF qualifications.You will have practical working understanding of the insurance industry, corporate insurance policy coverage plus renewal and claims processes.Excellent written and verbal communication and numeracy skills.
