Deloitte is looking for an experienced Corporate Finance professional to join its Transactions advisory team based in Wellington. This provides an opportunity to:· Join a market leading practice and a supportive working environment and culture to enable you to achieve your career aspirations.· Broaden your involvement across the range of Corporate Finance disciplines, as we operate as one team across Transaction Services, M&A and Valuation offerings.About this team:Our Transactions advisory team support clients through all stages of the transaction lifecycle, covering financial due diligence (purchaser and vendor), M&A advisory, debt advisory, valuation and modelling. Your typical day will include:· Managing client projects (predominantly transaction processes).· Analysing and quickly developing an understanding of the target business.· Clearly communicating the key commercial, financial and value drivers to potential acquirers.· Coaching, training and development of the team.We are looking for a person who has:· At least 4+ years' experience working in a professional services firm, investment bank or similar environment.· A chartered accountant (CA) qualification or chartered financial analyst (CFA) holder.· Strong numeracy and sound logic, including excellent Excel based financial modelling skills.· Engaging communication skills, including verbal and written, and an ability to build client and internal relationships.· Ability to mentor and lead junior team members and work collaboratively as part of the wider team on client engagements.· Proven project management skills including responsibility for delivering to project timetables.About Deloitte:We are driven to create an impact that matters at every opportunity.Supported by a strongleadership team Deloitte New Zealand is the largest professional services firm directly connected to out Asia Pacific andmember firms from over 150 countries acrossthe globe.
