With our sights set on the future, we're looking for a savvy Corporate Finance and Analysis Manager to join our team on a 12-month fixed term contract to help us deliver our strategy and be the world's number one supplier of premium wool.
The Role
Do you have a background in corporate finance, financial planning, and analysis, with an ability to communicate complex financial information clearly? Then look no further - as the Corporate Finance and Analysis Manager you will play a critical role in NZM's aspiration to be the world's #1 preferred supplier of wool.
As the Corporate Finance and Analysis Manager you will:
Analyse financial performance to determine the drivers of profitability for NZM.
Analyse market, sector, supply, supply-chain and brand data to provide insights that allow for data-driven decisions.
Drive continuous improvement through the provision of analytical expertise and rigour to support the NZM business units (Supply, Commercial, Customer and Integrity Systems).
Conceptualise and build financial models to support various workstreams and business cases across the business.
Proactively identify new business opportunities (revenue creation and cost reduction) and risks to deliver improvements in overall business performance.
Contribute to the writing of business cases and board papers.
The Person
7+ years' modelling and analyst experience in a similar role
Strong understanding of valuation, financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting techniques
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly
