Due to the scale and ambition of the business, they have created a new role to understand the numbers behind new business initiatives (e.g.
acquisitions, helping to build business cases, etc), investor relations and also sustainability reporting.
About the Role: In this pivotal role, you'll work closely with the CFO and General Manager of Strategy, providing vital financial insights to drive business decisions.
You'll support investor relations, manage sustainability reporting, and maintain critical financial models.
This is an ideal opportunity for a driven analyst to contribute to strategic planning while gaining exposure to key areas of the business.
Key Responsibilities: Support investor relations and own sustainability reporting Develop and enhance financial and valuation models Prepare reports for the Board, executive management, and stakeholders Conduct financial analysis on key performance indicators Research market trends and monitor developments Assist in collecting and preparing emissions data for sustainability reporting So Who Are You And What Is Your Profile?
This role suits someone likely in a professional services firm (Audit or Corporate Finance, big4, mid-tier, etc).
Ideally, you'll have a professional qualification in accounting too or on the pathway to a CFA.
Alternatively, you may have had exposure to this in a listed business.
You'll also need to have experience of developing financial models and have great communication skills.
The role offers significant exposure to the ELT and is the first role of this type in the business, so offers great potential for growth.
