Business Development Manager - Corporate Aon exists to shape decisions for the better - to protect and enrich the lives of people in Aotearoa, and around the world. Our colleagues provide our clients in over 120 countries and sovereignties with advice and solutions that give them clarity and confidence to make better decisions to protect and grow their business.
With one of our colleagues progressing their career internally, the opportunity to join our team as a Corporate Business Development Manager has become available. This role can be based out of our Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch offices.

About the mahiThis role will see you responsible for the development and growth of our national corporate level clients, while ensuring that our go-to-market strategy and offering is aligned to our global Aon United proposition. You will build a base of clients from market research, identifying pockets of growth and offering competitive solutions.
Manage new business and continuous customer relationships, and negotiation of potential business opportunities.Consult and collaborate with Aon Specialists and Underwriters to provide tailored solutions to client and prospects needs.Through service, pricing, consultation and reporting, promote the value Aon delivers to clients and prospects.Skills and experience that will lend to successYou will have the opportunity to collaborate, engage and consult across all of Aon's specialty areas while looking at growth opportunities across our corporate clients. You will come from a strong commercial or corporate sales environment with a focus on new business development and strategic growth.
A few key strengths we are looking for:Experience building client networks at executive or C-Suite level.Strong ability to engage, prospect and negotiate new business by "hunting" for market growth.Outstanding written and verbal communication skills along with a strong level of confidence in your presentation skills.The ability to travel as required and hold a current Full New Zealand Drivers licence.How we support our colleaguesIn addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage a diverse workforce.
