Winning isn't everything, but excellence is.Expectations of a CopywriterIdeate, write and execute original and iconic creative concepts in response to client briefs, objectives or goals, maintaining the agency's expected levels of creative excellence and professionalism.Establish visual tone, character, and messages that will effectively communicate with the target audience and fulfil project objectives.Develop creative ideas that meet both our clients' objectives as well as our business objectives, maintaining the company's expected levels of creative excellence and professionalism.Present, share and review creative work with Executive Creative Director/s, Account Management, and Planning Leads as well as members of the Management Team.Manage multiple projects from concept through to completion, working with both in-house resources and third-party vendors.Collaborate effectively with Account Management, Planning, and the broader creative team to develop disruptive and iconic work.Participate in and lead brainstorming sessions.Minimum Requirements5-7 years of local + regional experience and a portfolio of jealousy-inducing ideas and craft. Work that saw the light of day, and maybe some that didn't.Digital and activation experience: demonstrated ability to engage consumers on-ground and on social through branded experiences.Social-first thinking and executional skills: understand what's going on in culture and the social media landscape and be able to ideate and write for a socially-connected audience.Self-starter with a growth mindset: be open, curious, and always willing to learn, solve problems, and go beyond your comfort zone.Candid, clear, thoughtful: possess good communication skills that help you interact and collaborate well across levels and disciplines.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced creative environment.
