We are now seeking a talented Copywriter & Content Creator to join our team and drive the creation of compelling content across our marketing channels. This role will play a pivotal part in shaping how we communicate our brand story, product offerings and industry expertise.Role Overview:We are seeking a creative and highly capable Copywriter & Content Creator to produce exceptional-quality engaging content that aligns with our brand identity and marketing goals. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling, a keen understanding of construction and design industries, and the ability to craft compelling narratives that resonate with key audiences, including developers, specifiers, and builders.You will work closely with our Marketing Manager and key team members to develop strategic B2B content plans, and create exceptional customer experiences. You will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a high volume workload requiring quick turnarounds.Key Responsibilities:Content Creation:Assist in developing content for various marketing channels, including the website, social media, email campaigns, case studies, press releases, brochures and technical documents. Articles will align with strategic marketing goals. Some travel will be required to construction sites across NZ to gather content and stories.Copywriting and Brand Storytelling:Collaborate with our marketing and sales teams to tell Formsteel's brand story and write clear, engaging, on-brand copy for presentation decks, articles, video scripts, case studies, landing pages, email marketing, and promotional materials, focusing on Formsteel's unique value proposition. You will be required to have a deep understanding of our customer segments and be able to adapt content to suit different customer journeys.Digital Channel Management & Website Content:Create, schedule and manage social media posts across platforms, driving positive online conversations. Develop SEO-friendly content for the website, including blogs, landing pages, technical guides and FAQs. Draft client communications and manage email marketing campaigns, including lead nurture programs, using marketing automation systems integrated with our CRM. You will work closely with the team to craft personalised, data-driven communications that guide prospects through the customer journey.Collaboration:Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, sales, product development and technical experts, to gather insights and create accurate, informative content that is of interest to Formsteel's customers and stakeholders. Work with our external creative, digital and communications agencies to deliver the best possible content and campaigns to build awareness of the Formsteel business.Analytics & Reporting:Track content performance using analytics and CRM tools and provide recommendations for optimising future content based on data insights.Skills & Qualifications:3+ years of experience in copywriting, content creation or a similar role.A creative mindset with exceptional writing, editing and storytelling. The ability to adapt tone & style to different audiences and platforms.A deep understanding of B2B marketing strategies and an understanding of the construction and building industry with the ability to translate technical information into clear, compelling content.Experience in creating SEO-optimised content, managing social media platforms and developing content strategies.Skilled at drafting client communications and deploying them through a marketing automation system attached to our CRM.Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a cross-functional team.Meticulous editing and proofreading abilities to ensure technical accuracy and brand consistency across all content.Confidence to present on camera or in front of customers.Proficiency in content management systems, social media scheduling tools and Adobe Creative Suite.A Bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism, communications or related field.Experience in construction is desired but not essential.Why join Formsteel?Be part of a forward thinking family owned company that is in an exciting growth phase and transforming the construction industry.Work in a collaborative, creative environment where your ideas and expertise will drive our brand forward.An opportunity to shape Formsteel's voice and influence how we engage with key audiences in the market.A Competitive salary, benefits, and opportunities for professional growth.Marketing is based out of our New Plymouth office but could be Auckland based for the right person.How to Apply:If you're a skilled writer with a passion for storytelling and creating content that resonates, we'd love to hear from you!
